Magnetic Island is a small island just off Townsville, reached by a short ferry ride. We stayed here for two nights of relaxation, as there wasnt an awful lot to do here. Phi Phi Don was the most popular resort along the coast before it was hit by the Tsunami, and sadly some of the damage is still clear to see.
