34 degrees was the forecast today. Doesn't matter where in the world you are, that is pretty hot. Here though it is pretty humid too, much like the hometown of Melbourne. Knowing it was going to be this warm we decided to go underground. After breakfast we caught a tram to the station & then a train out to Wieliczka, about 20 mins away. By the time we arrived it was already 30 degs so we made our way to the salt mine where we were to spend the next 3.5 hours....

We had decided that we would head to Auschwitz today. Today was going to be the coolest of the days whilst we were here so it would be the best to head there. As such we did know it would be a heavy day. We had breakfast & stopped at a bakery to grab some stuff for lunch. Arriving at the bus station we caught the 11am bus for the 1.5 hour ride to the camp. Needing a relaxed morning in Split we slept in before leaving the guesthouse at 10.30am. We did find some live Aussie rules on the tv before we left. Very random.
