We drove into Murray Bridge with the intentions of going to the Montana Zoo, arrived there an hour after it had opened and the car queue was a kilometre out on the road. So Plan B was put into action…… Alan had been in contact with a local guy from Murray Bridge in regards to his Nissan's gearbox, so after a phone call, we arrived at Des’s place and after a great chat and look over both buses, we decided to move on down to the Coorong.

The road down beside the Coorong is a bouncy one, as are most of South Australian’s roads that we have come across. We stopped for the night at The Granites Camp site, which is on the beach and only 20km north of Kingston SE, the Granites is a stunning beach.
