Cold shower this morning so will be good if the Casas improve from here - but lovely family, good nights sleep and hearty brekkie so all's good.
Through rural villages and farming land to Che Guevara memorial in Santa Clara - Cuban hero from the revolution so the most important site in Cuba for Cubans - interesting history but nfp here (discuss at home)
Onto Trinidad and walking tour - cobblestone streets, colorful restored buildings, friendly people, lots of bars and almost no cars. Love this place and so easy to explore - so few cars (can't afford to buy them or to run them) so pedestrians share the streets with carts, animals, bikes and a variety of sorts of taxis some motorized and some not. Casa good and another great dinner there (3 small lobster tails chargrilled with rice, vegies, soup, salad, fruit, dessert and tea/coffee for $12) then off to some live music (Trinidad is the music capital of Cuba). Salsa at an outdoor venue on some steps in the street and then Cuban in a music house.
Tomorrow hiking in the morning and beach in the pm is the plan
