So we eventually left Bangkok (hurrah - not that we didnt enjoy ourselves but spent way too long there) at 8.45pm ready for a 8 hour bus journey to a place on the Gulf of Thailand. So we left at 7am to travel roughly 2 and a half hours to a place North of Bangkok called Kanchanaburi. Here we were going to be staying over night so we can do a 2 day trek/tour. Day one: We arrived at around 9.30am and went straight to a WW2 cemetery, which was pretty cool. then we haeaded to the WW@ museum.
