So we eventually left Bangkok (hurrah - not that we didnt enjoy ourselves but spent way too long there) at 8.45pm ready for a 8 hour bus journey to a place on the Gulf of Thailand. We were dreading the bus ride but it was an awesome bus with big reclining seats and hardly anyone on so we could spread out so I slept most of teh way. Got to the place around 5am where we had to wait 2 hours before we could board the catamarran that would take us to Ko Tao in just under 2 hours. AND OH MY GOD!!!!! horrible ride. now i dont suffer from sea sickness but as Loz described it - I trned green and white and alas chundered a little. It was horrid - very very bumpy, boat almost toppled, with random people spewing all around - luckily as we set off teh \staff brought round sick bags as they knew people would. Steph chundered too whilst Loz squeezed my fingers when she felt the boat was about to tip!!! Worst trip ever!!!!

Bt... we arrived safely... and were met by a random guy who was a taxi - jumped in the back of his open truck and went about 5 mins to our hotel - AC Resort. pictures looked quality on internet however to our disappointment wasnt very nice. bt it was right by beach and only one that had swimming pool so here we are now. We leavve tomorrow for Ko Phangnan though as there really isn't anything to do here bt sunbathe. Working on my tan nicely... (and safely mummy and daddy).
