Well we arrived safely after a 10 hour flight and boy is it hot - well its very humid!! was about 28 degrees when landed at 4pm...its hard to believe everyone back home is suffering the winter :) . After severly embarassing steph and the odd video camera entry I tried to get some sleep on the plane but could only manage the odd hour here and there! Bangkok airport is very interesting... Its pretty cool and futuristic (if that isn't in the dictionary then it should be!)

The hostel picked us up from the airport which was good however the journey took over an hour and was very intereesting... every red light possible we stopped at and for the minimum of 5 minutes each time, people walking up the middle of lanes on a busy street coming up to the car trying to sell noodles and food. about 5 laned roads where cars do not seem to understand the object of the lanes? But we arrived safely and the hostel is very nice! The smell on the streets is a little funky to say the least but to be honest I'm already getting used to it. Will tak elots of pics soon and post them. But we're really hungry and pretty tired, so going for some food and a meander down Khosan Road before hittin gbed ready for a full day tomorrow. Still hasn't quite sunk in quite yet that we are here - seems like we're on a holiday! Will speak soon... xxx
