We left Wertheim late yesterday, now heading for Bamberg, Pat and I aren't going off today, as it's only a walking tour of Bamburg, it's sunday and the shops are shut. Just had an ambulance come and take a woman to hospital, everyone seems to have a cough or cold, so don't know what is wrong with her but she's been very sick for the last 5 days> so her husband has had to pack and go with her he will have to book into a Hotel somewhere here in Bamburg, at least he has travel insurance.

Bamburg: Is a town in Bavaria, Germany. It is located in Upper Franconia on the river Regnitz, close to it's confluence with the river Main. Bamberg is one of the few cities in Germany that was not destroyed by World War 11 bombings. Bamberg is home to nearly 7,000 foreign nationals, including over 4,100 members of the United States Army and there dependents. The name Bamberg supposed to have it's origin in the House of Babenberg.
