Unfortunatley today wasn't one of our better ones! Claire woke up feeling terrible and as from early morning to late evening didn't stop throwing up - not sure if it was the food or the beers but she won't be ordering the garlic and pepper dish again.

David on the other hand felt fine until he walked up to the little supermarket to draw out today's money as usual from the ATM. When he went into his wallet to get out the cash card a familiar feeling came across him... We had done it again - we had left our card in the ATM machine yesterday!! We couldn't believe we had done it again in the space of about 3 days - this was our backup card!! After cursing the ATMs in Thailand for giving you the cash before they give you card, David managed one of his Thai/English conversations with the staff of the little supermarket, and amongst the sign language and laughter (Thai's seem to always laugh at anything that goes wrong for us??) we were told that we could try the bank tomorrow, conveniantly located 10 miles away in the main town on the island.

The rest of the afternoon we were very thankful we were in a room with air con and a TV so at least Claire didn't suffer too much in bed, a fan hut would have been extreme torture feeling like this. We were talking about how lucky we were at about 4pm when without warnning the power went off. Damn. No more air con, no more TV, no more lights and Claire was pretty much bed ridden!! She managed to get to the restaurant for some fresh air and fortunatley the power came back on at about 9pm so Claire was able to go back to the room and get to bed whilst Dave stayed in the bar chatting with the locals
