W have had yet another relaxing day in Bang Bao - getting used to this! Spent the day lounging around and looking round the shops on the pier. When it was time to actually do something we went again to one of the restaurants on the pier. We both had the "Seabird Special" - pieces of raw beef, pork, chicken and seafood done on the bbq with noodles and soup...not realising that we'll be doing our own cooking on our own little bbq stove and juices that ...

Bang Bao Up early today and Dave went on a run, after 5 minutes he was back. Had another chilling day at the beach and tried playing fetch with a dog. We, on a number of times threw the twig into the sea for it to do the 'dog' thing and bring it back, but it didn't seem to move an inch. We ended up giving up on the understanding it didnt understand fetch in English. We also saw a family of wild monkeys today that came out of the jungle and were jumping fro...

Bang Bao As planned we checked out of the 'zoo' and travelled by Sawnthaew (a pick up truck with seats at the back, which serves as a taxi) to Bang Bao. We checked into Remark Pu-Zi which again are beach huts but are much nicer and bigger than our previous stop. We took a 20 minute walk and found a beach which was more or less all ours, apart from a little bar made of bamboo, where David nearly broke his leg after one of the bamboo boards snapped in two....

Lonely Beach Our first night in the 'zoo' with a bed wasnt actually too bad! Slept perfectly under our mozzie net and spent the morning on our little balcony debating what to do today - opted to just relax all day on the beach. Bliss!
