Bang Bao
As planned we checked out of the 'zoo' and travelled by Sawnthaew (a pick up truck with seats at the back, which serves as a taxi) to Bang Bao. We checked into Remark Pu-Zi which again are beach huts but are much nicer and bigger than our previous stop.
We took a 20 minute walk and found a beach which was more or less all ours, apart from a little bar made of bamboo, where David nearly broke his leg after one of the bamboo boards snapped in two...in Britain we could sue for thousands, in Thailand the Barman laughs.
On our way back from the beach the local school had finished for the day so we were surrounded by kids wanting high fives and practicing their English on us.
The town is renowned for its seafood restaurants and we ate at the obvious choice, The Bay.
