We left our illuminous yellow cell this morning to get some breakfast before our boat ride to Ko Lanta. We had allready booked our hotel (the first time since we left home) as it's Songkran - the Thai New Year - apparently everything gets really booked up fast at this time of year so we didn't take our chances! We settled into our aicon room with a TV and finally a toilet with a flush for less money than what we paying for our cell in Phi Phi. We went straight to the pool which we then avoided as it was the temperature of a bath! Not very refreshing!

Koh Lanta is a really quiet islan and stepping out of the resort there isn't much to do so at night we stayed in the hotel bar which fortunatley serves really nice Thai food.

We made a bet as well this evening! Dave has to now eat nothing but the local food all the way to Kuala Lumpar (where there is a Nandos). He is alowed no more Western treats like chocolate, chips, pizzas, kettle chips, burgers, pasta, butties, which pretty much leaves only rice or noodles! The loser of the bet has to buy a round of the famously expensive Singapore Slings from the Raffles hotel in Singapore! Oh the excitement!
