Had a bit of a lie in this morning before setting off on our trip to 'The Beach'- it's the photo above, but in the movie the gap is blocked off.

On the way there we had a quick stop off at monkey bay which has been claimed by loads of monkeys which come down and greet the visitors, we obviously were fortunate enough to see no monkeys whatsoever!

We had an hours snorkelling which was great before going to Maya Bay - the location of 'The Beach' film. When getting there, you can see just how beautiful the beach actually is, white sands and crystal clear waters and it's all enclosed by limestone cliffs. It wasnt however nice and private like the film as there were probably about 100 other people all taking photos, just like us!

We then watched the sunset from the boat before heading back to the island for another night of Costa Del Phi Phi.

We managed to escape it all a little bit by going to on of the chilled out bars and watched a fire show, which although pretty cool, was a little scary when 2 sets of nearby umbrellas went up in flames!!
