Today was about 30 degrees and threatening to have thunderstorms in the afternoon so we left Sue with her feet up in the hotel with a big bag of popcorn and headed off to Magic Kingdom. The bus drops you off at security, but you are still no where near the park. You have to get either the monorail or the ferry to the park.
We went over to ‘Big Thunder Railway’ as this had a short wait time and managed to get both this ride and ‘Splash Mountain’ done both pretty quickly. As the only new ride that we were interested in was ‘Seven Dwarfs Mine’ we went here, and waited our 50 minutes for what was a mediocre roller coaster.
As the wait time for Space Mountain was down to 30 minutes we went here next and had a lot more fun on this roller coaster. Then ‘Space Rangers’, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’, met Jack Sparrow and Sherbet had a photo with him. We had a Fast Pass to ‘Splash Mountain’ again, but as the weather was bad the ride was closed. As for the Fast Pass? You can use it at a different ride. Back to ‘Space Mountain’.
We also covered ‘Laugh Floor’ and got a photo with Stitch, and then headed back to the hotel. As the weather was still unsettled we had dinner at the Japanese restaurant at the hotel, which was both a nice change and fortuitous as it started bucketing down.
