We left the town of Margaret River and drove about 40 minutes north to the town of Busselton, still in the MR region but on the Geographe Bay coast. We found a nice campsiste by the beach and even got a free upgrade to a powered site which was good. We've been in Margaret River itself for the past 4 days, and it's our favourite place in Australia that we have visited so far. We left Denmark and drove out of the Southern Forests west towards the Margaret River region, first stop was Augusta at the most south westerly point of Australia. It was raining quite heavily today, so we decided to extend our stay in Denmark for one more night so we didn't have to pack up our tent in the rain. We spent the morning in the nice coffee shop in town with the free wifi waiting for the weather to clear, and then went back to the campsite for lunch. Luckily the afternoon wasn't quite as wet, so we drove towards Warpole to visit the Warpole Wilderness Area - this is a huge area of forest about the size of Luxembo...

We left peaceful Bremer Bay and drove west towards our next stop, Denmark. We stopped off in Albany on the way to stock up on food and have some lunch, then carried on. Denmark is quite a small town, but it's really picturesque, surrounded by forests with a river running through the town. It also has loads of coffee shops which made a nice change.
