We went from our fave place (hoi an) to our least fave so far- Nha Trang. After the super fun 13 hour night bus (not fun at all) we were able to check into our hotel early, had a nap then went out and about. Nha Trang is a beach side town, I'm sure it would have been really nice in previous years, but now it's full of fat, sunburnt tourists and not really like being in Vietnam. Apparently in the last 12 months they have made 3 daily flights direct from Russia, so...

Hoi An = beautiful. My favourite place in Vietnam so far!!! Once we arrived to our hotel, (huy huong garden hotel- really nice) we had a swim in the pool, had a chat to an Argentinian couple we met at halong bay, then walked into the old town. Hoi An is a beautiful ancient city that still has most of the old buildings and roads, they weren't bombed like many other cities. At night the old town comes alive with hundreds of lanterns lit up everywhere in the street ...

The next morning we got up, had the yummy breakfast and hired a private at to drive the 150km (or something like that) journey to Hoi An. It takes a long time to travel that distance here with the bad roads and zillions of motorbikes! We stopped at some fishing villages along the way, cool to see how they catch different seafood (they use rubber tyres from bicycles for catching muscles) and cute looking villages. After the train ride which took a fair bit longer than expected (3.5 hours instead of 2.5 hours) we got a taxi to our hotel in Hue. A really nice hotel, probably our best so far! The upgraded us to a family room (massive) with a balcony, even had our own computer! Said we could have had a honeymoon gift or room upgrade- we went with the upgrade! All for only $15 a night an the hotel had a nice pool and awesome breakfast included too. Was called the hong thien 1 h...

Danang is a beach side town in Vietnam, it's deffo up and coming, lots of construction and new resorts being built. Got a taxi from the airport to our hotel, called Mango Hotel (only $20 a night!) pretty nice room, they had made a love heart in rose petals on the bed, petals in the sink and fresh fruit with a note for us to enjoy our marriage. It pays to use the honeymoon card!! We went for a swim at the beach and ended up having our first western meal at an Auss...
