My Family Travels
So we spent Paul's birthday in Grand Teton National Park. What better place could you celebrate your birthday?
The peaks of this park are just amazing. And to compare it to the valleys and the meadows next to them, make the mountains look even more amazing! We did mostly driving today since we didn't have a ton of time for this park since we were meeting friends for supper in Yellowstone.
Our first stop was at Jenny Lake. The last time I was personally here, I hiked all the way around this lake. But this time Paul and I hiked the short distance to the lake, took a few pictures, and then hiked back to his parents.
Some of Paul and my friends live in this area. Freddie and Stephanie and their baby Grace met up with us in a picnic area in Yellowstone. This area was very pretty since it was on the river. They brought a picnic of burgers and sides and even a small birthday cake! With the candles, Fred tried to make the numerals 31, if you can see it in the picture. It was so nice to catch up with some great friends!
