This was our first time flying with our little mister. Everything went about as smoothly as possible. I couldn't believe how helpful people were as well. I will sing the praises of Southwest Airlines for as long as I can. When we first got to the airport we had so much stuff to carry. A nice man who did the curbside helped us with our luggage and stayed with us until we were checked in at the counter inside. The lady that checked us in was so helpful when we had many bags and questions about the flight. Once we got on the plane, we sat in the very back row in order to hopefully not have anyone sit with us. The great stewardesses helped us keep the extra seat. They also loved talking to our little mister. They even gave me my drink with a lid and a straw since I was holding the baby. Silas got so much attention from everyone, even extra snacks. Our flight was a direct flight, but not non-stop. So that meant we flew from Milwaukee to DC to Dallas. Silas slept the entire way the first leg. He played for most of the second and slept for a half hour at the end. What a great little guy! It made our day of travel so easy. Once we got our rental car we were off to visit with Jeremy and Steph for a bit until it was bedtime.
