This morning the three of us checked out the sea lions on pier 39 on our way to the ferry terminal. There are loads of them and its really interesting to watch them! We then had to catch our ferry to Alcatraz. After our long cue we eventually made it to the island. Today started off with a brilliant American style breakfast! I wasn't even close to finishing it before I gave in! As my trousers had shrunk in the wash we had to try and find some new ones for me. I planned to wake up early this morning to try and reduce the jet lag I would get in San Francisco. Unfortunately I had a horrid night sleep so decided to ignore the alarm.
