We did our first days work yesterday, picking grapes. It was the hardest days work we have ever done. We got up at 5:30 and worked from 7am until 2pm without a break. It was so hot and the grapes were so tricky to pick. There were some people going round picking the biggest bunches and so the rest of us had to go back over the vines they had done and get all the small bunches off. We were paid by the bucket so it was hard to fill buckets when all the big bunches ...

Our St Valentines Bash (Daves bday) was a success. We were put into teams of four, we were with Daves mate from school and his girlfriend we all got on really well. Cliff was surprisingly good at Bowls and he soon got into his competitve mood. We got through to the Final and we won! thanks to Luce who got us the winning ball. We are going to try to see a bit more of Perth now we have the car, public transport isn't very good here, the buses are not regular at all.
