Camino 3
Decided to wander down to the Louvre after brekkie at local bakery. A little drizzle but none whilst queuing to get in. Lots of people and it seemed that almost everybody was taking either a selfie or pictures of the exhibits. Surely to goodness they could buy a guide book which would have better quality pictures and also descriptions of what they were seeing. What is the fascination with "selfie sticks"? As the day wore on the crowds became bigger and quite uncomfortable. I wasn't particularly bothered about seeing the Mona Lisa but as we were ushered down that way I thought I had eat least better say I had seen it. The crowds were horrendous and, again, people were taking pictures of a picture from 20 metres away which would also include the hands and cameras of others in front. Anyway, I was there. Finally broke out back in to the fresh air and walked back home before a lovely dinner at a restaurant close by. A good final meal of the holiday.
