Parthenon and other drivebys

I was wholly disappointed we weren't able to go into the Parthenon in Nashville. I had really looked forward to seeing it with the girls because of the Percy Jackson book series and movie which had actually been filmed there but due to it being closed I didn't have a choice. We did do a drive by which was sufficient. It was very impressive!

In Nashville, down the hill from the capital, lives the circular building that houses the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum. Due to our timeline this was not a possibility to go see but it's on the "next time" list!

Also on the next time list is the downtown of Nashville which houses the Ryman Auditorium (we drove by), Grand Ol' Opry, and lots of honky tonk bars. Although I'm not a huge country song person I appreciate it and would love to experience this side of America.
