The Elkhorn Campground just 5 min out of Frankfort, KY was only a sleepover for us but it was a fun campground and I would love to come stay longer to hangout. It was about $31, is on Elkhorn Creek (which were were right up against), allows fishing right from your space, has beautiful scenery including geese that had goslings, and had the amenities the kids would have liked to partake more of such as the pool, arcade and mess around on the playground taking pictures of each other. Emma and I took a walk to the arcade while everyone else was getting ready or packing up the trailer. She ended up winning a bouncy ball which I had to later chastise myself for throwing it at her head (she was right behind me in the car) and having it come right back at me and my almost hitting Mike's driving arm! I "yelled" at Emma exclaiming that I'd thought I'd taught her better than that!
