Enjoyed an early morning walk at Port Gregory. Beach was lined with rows of dead jelly fish that blow up like balloons. Impossible not to step on some and when you do they also pop like balloons. Not our best day although relatively productive. Managed to change a power point over to an Engel plug as the standard point wasn't allowing the Engel to "freeze" Thank God Hanno knows what he's doing with these running repairs. Left Ellendale Pool and it's incredible fly population about 8:15am and headed along a scenic drive through rolling hills, past a massive wind farm and into Geraldton. Left Kalgoorlie about 9:00 and headed north to an old mining town called Menzies. Menzies is on the Goldfields Highway 130km north of Kalgoorlie. Turns out despite the apparent lack of residents, the town has created a historic record of its glory days as a gold mining centre.
