Well we have done Port Hedland, rolled in at lunch time and been there done that and now wanting a drink for happy hour . Most mining towns/ports seem to be the same. We saw the same ship here as we saw last year in Gladstone. Pacific maru. We thought it was getting cooler yesterday in 80 mile beach so broke out the winter quilts and clothes and put away all the summer clothes and now its hot again.

Hit the markets today. Mrs M got a treat, new pearl earings. then the girls did china town and retail therapy. Cable Beach is fantastic, some had lunch on the beach with Moet and did all the beachy things. Then we all had dinner with the whole Caravan of Courage and a few extra's we have met on the way, or flew in to meet us. Zanders on th ebeach was fabulous for sunset drinks and then dinner. Further to the Broome Caravan Park being really nice. It apparently is right on the end of the Broome Airport runway. 5.45am all the propeller driven our planes warmed up and took off every 5 minutes until 7.ooam, Mr B & Co love a sleep in, yet another early start. Broome at last! Reaching brome has been the goalof this trip. Lovely town, 32 degrees and humid, did the cruise around town tocheck out the high spots, saw the camel team heading for the beach. This park is just 1 street back from Cable Beach. 450 sites and packe din like sardines. Tomorrow we ar eoff to Cape Leveque for 2 nights in a Safari Tent @ $300 a night so we hope it is good.
