Broome at last!
Reaching brome has been the goalof this trip. Lovely town, 32 degrees and humid, did the cruise around town tocheck out the high spots, saw the camel team heading for the beach. This park is just 1 street back from Cable Beach. 450 sites and packe din like sardines. Tomorrow we ar eoff to Cape Leveque for 2 nights in a Safari Tent @ $300 a night so we hope it is good.
Caravan update - Woopee the fridge has been fixed. No more rumbling through the night like a nuclear reactor. Now we have a gate hitch and padlock on the van door as the lock fell out. So wecan leave it in confidence.
The Britz rentall team have already headed for Cape Leveque staying at Middle Bay.
The Hindmarsh Island Team are at Port Hedland heading north to rendevous thursday.
The B team, Hindmarsh Island and the Fryze all have chipped front widowscreens. All waiting to see what the best method to fix is. Superglue or Epoxy.
Happy hour was quiet tonight with one team missing. Fryze has really filled the Mr Have a Chat shoes on this trip. Has long conversations at dawn with fellow travellers - while the rest of us snooze on.
