Our Broome experience probably didn't start as we would have hoped but ended up working out perfectly. Erosion from the rain has slowly carved the the beautiful landscape out of the rocks in Karijini, leaving so many stunning gorges and waterfalls to discover. Our drive into the National park was stunning…. excited to know there were going to be lots of hikes and walks with many great sights to uncover. Karratha was our stop before we got to Point Sampson and was the closest place to get any shopping. It was so nice to get civilisation and a small but real shopping centre! And a proper Coffee! Although…. our stop for a few groceries and a quick lunch was not a cheap trip! With a special of 2 Sushi rolls and bottle of water we weren't going to be rushing back. Crazy! But i Guess thats what you pay when you are in the middle of no where in a town full of miners...

Exmouth was the next stop and was a great place to try to do a bit of Whale watching, but after a few attempts we were starting to wonder where they all were? Over all we did see a few turtles a couple whales and what we think was a Dolphin and a Kangaroo but that was about it the whole time we were there. Well Onlsow is certainly not a dazzling town to say the least, it is a small mining town that consists of 667 people and most of them are there for work.
