...we arrive, unpack, meet our host and leave for a short walk around the most hipster part of NYC - Williamsburg, full of elegant ladies with pedigree lapdogs, people with weird hair, vintage bikes, lumberjack beards and mismatched clothes. This feels so strange.
...we buy an iPhone for J and I find the same taco truck I had burritos from back in 2015 when I rented a room here. Happy times!
...we cross over to Manhattan, see a few iconic sites, get lost a few times and just...breathe New York.
...I find that the cube in Astor Place is back! I finally see it, touch it and manage to turn it around.
...we ride to the Times Square restaurant the View where I made a dinner reservation for 7pm. It is a revolving rooftop restaurant on the 48th floor of the Times Square Marriott. We're. It hungry so we stay at the bar for a couple beers. Views are equally amazing and although the turning is painfully slow after a few rounds it seems to speed up. Also: views over Manhattan are breathtaking.
...we go back home accompanied by omnipresent NYC street and subway live music
