As yesterday's fog prevented us from seeing the best of the town we stayed put and wandered further afield around it. This took us to a couple of the beaches - Porthmeor and Porthminster. We didn't get to Carbis Bay which is a huge beach but could see it in the distance. These are the first sandy beaches we have come across and we can see why people come to this region for holidays.
