We did some organising this morning as we're leaving for Laos tomorrow. We got to face time Louisa, Neil and the kids as it was morning for them, afternoon for us which was great. We then sorted things that we wanted to parcel up and send home, and write a few postcards. We set off for a walk to the post office which was only a little further down our street and sent our postcards and parcel. The postage system here is so easy compared to India! After this we visited a huge wat which was close by apparently this was the biggest one in Chiang Mai for the new year celebrations. It was really peaceful and they had cool sayings put up onto trees. When we'd finished here we had a walk in the opposite direction towards tesco for some bits for our journey tomorrow. We had something to eat at a street restaurant I had chicken with noodles and James had pork with noodles. It was so delicious, probably the best noodles we've had in Thailand! Also a bonus was that it was so cheap. Next on the list was to walk to find one of the cash machines that doesn't charge to take money out, we hadn't realised but it is pretty close to the end of our road. We walked back to the hotel and finished our packing and organising.
