Our ferry is at 9.30am this morning to get to Ko Phangan so we were up and sorted for just before 9.00 when we could check out. We walked down to the same ferry port as when we arrived and checked in. We got on the boat two minutes later and found seats. We then had about a twenty minute wait before the ferry set off. We had breakfast in our room this morning, good old cornflakes then finished booking bits for Vietnam. We packed part of the bag ready for when we leave tomorrow. We went out and thought about renting a quad bike for our last day on the island, they were really expensive though so we changed plans and headed for the nearby beach to chill for the afternoon. After the last three and a half days we decided to sleep in this morning! We got up had a coffee in the room and then went out for some late breakfast. When you walk up and down the streets in Thailand most shops or houses have bird cages hung outside with quite large birds living inside like the one in the photograph, a lot of the time too people are carrying them riding their scooters! Very early start this morning, we were at the boat for 7.00am. Sarah had got our kit out but we had to pack it into our bags and then wait for the long tail to take us to the boat. Once on the boat we set up our kit as usual and were on our way to the dive site called Twins. Basically our dives today were just fun dives so we would only be doing minimal skills.
