We both woke up this morning with mighty hangovers, this was not the most sensible thing seen as we have a two hour ferry ride today! Oh well it's got to be done, we got all our things packed and waited for the transfer bus to pick us up to take us to the ferry port. We decided for our last day on Ko Samui we would rent a scooter again and explore the north of the island. There are quite a few famous temples to go and have a look at. Also we wanted to get to the ferry pier to see if we could book our ferry for tomorrow to get to Ko Tao. We started by getting some breakfast out and about and first went to see the Big Buddha statue. It is enormous and can be seen from miles away as it's up on a hill. We got loads of photographs...

We thought we had to make today a full day of planning for Vietnam. We have hardly got anything sorted for it and its not long to go now! Samui has been too much fun and too much to see so far for us to think about planning properly. We had breakfast at the restaurant attached to our beach huts.
