We got up this morning after yet another not so good sleep. I have no idea just how hot it is in this room but it's so hard to get any sort of sleep! We went to the restaurant downstairs to chill and start on our organising, Sam and Steph came down with their parcels for home to try again. We managed to get quite a bit of planning done but we haven't yet made any decisions on Bali which is scary because its not long now until we're going! We paid our bill at reception now because we will be leaving at around 4.30am in the morning for the train! The girls came back from the post office having spent around £50 each sending parcels home! At half four we all went in a taxi to the tattoo place for the girls to have their tattoos. It took a little while for the guy to turn up then re draw Steph's elephant so it was perfect then Steph went first. They were getting bamboo tattoos so it was interesting to see how it was done, basically its a stick of sharp bamboo that it stabbed into the skin over and over. Steph made a lot of noise and you could tell on get face that it was really painful. Although bamboo is supposed to be a less painful way of getting a tattoo Steph was getting one on the side of her foot which would hurt. Half way through James and I left to do a few bits we needed to shopping wise and came back about half an hour later and Sam and Steph were waiting outside the shop both finished. Sam's tattoo had taken only five minutes to do. James and I still had some planning bits to do so we parted from Steph and Sam, they were going to eat somewhere and then head back we went to get street food and head back which might be quicker. We got street pad Thai which was really good. We got a taxi back to the guesthouse and James used the computer there for a little while. Sam and Steph were back by now, we got showers and went to bed, setting our alarms for 4am to get up for the train.
