For the next couple of days we have hired a scooter again to get out and about and see some more sights. We rode up to Fort Aguada, from there we stood looking out into the sea and saw some dolphins! Very cool!
We walked around there for a little while then went on the look out for a bar called Bobs bar. Apparently there is a story that Lord Lucan lived here for sometime and had this bar as his 'local' and there is supposed to be a photograph of him on the wall. Unfortunately it was closed when we rode past.
We found another bookshop which sold second hand books, we have both now read 7 books each since coming away and are keen to keep it up so bought another book for 50p.
We had been told by Victor to come any time after 7.30pm for our tea so we got on the scooter at around 8.00pm, as we turned up there had been a power cut but there were candles on the tables. The restaurant looked quite similar to during the day time apart from the tables were set. Victor came to greet us, there were just the 5 tables set, one couple were already eating, another came in just after us and there was a table for 4 and a table for two left. The food was amazing, the starters were really good, James' steak was big, that came with veg and my tiger prawns were the biggest I've seen and definitely ever eaten! We got a bowl of Bombay potatoes to share, they were also the best we've had. The meal was great. In the background further up the beach was a festival going on, there was some really good music we could hear really well from where we were. We said we might go and have a look at some point, it's on until Saturday.
