We arrived in Granada yesterday afternoon after an easy train ride from Sevilla. The train was only half full so I found a place for a nap and took my siesta there which worked out great. Trent and I made some bocadillos, sandwiches, that cost us practically nothing. I think we are going to try to do it cheap and shop at the supermercado, which is a lot cheaper than eating out. we got into out hostel in granada and it is great... it def caters to young english speaking backpackers and is a great place to meet people. they are very lax here... and it took over an hour to check in, but they gave us a free drink at their bar which was wonderful after the hot walk here. i think it was the most delicious sangria i ever had. anyways, we headed out at night with some people we had met.. a canadian, japonese, and an english guy that was working at the hostel. we went to a tapas bar, they come free with a beer and are delicious.. followed by a discoteca which was really fun and full of internationals. we danced to spanish house music which is pretty much the same as english house music... i think i got home around 4. but it is 8am now and time to beat the alhambra crowds. i know ill be looking forward to my siesta today.
