Our jouney to the Alhambra began with a long hike up a hill... we didn't realize that there were buses that took you there until we saw them flying by... oh well. We got there before they opened so we were able to get tickets fairly quickly. The Alhambra reminded me a lot of the Alcazar in Sevilla. But I think I might like the Alcazar better. I am glad that we saw one of the biggest monuments in southern spain. It is amazing as you can see in the pictures ho...

We arrived in Granada yesterday afternoon after an easy train ride from Sevilla. The train was only half full so I found a place for a nap and took my siesta there which worked out great. Trent and I made some bocadillos, sandwiches, that cost us practically nothing. I think we are going to try to do it cheap and shop at the supermercado, which is a lot cheaper than eating out. we got into out hostel in granada and it is great... it def caters to young english...
