Well pretty much the perfect day in Outback Queensland. The sun shone all day topping out at 23c. In the morning Susie spent time at the school of the air being shown how the kids in Outback Queensland get schooled by various forms of communication and I clambered all over every part of a Boeing 747 -200 and Qantas's first jet, a 1959 Boeing 707-138 at the Qantas Founders Museum on their Platinum tour. We met up at lunch and both spent some of the afternoon in the Qantas museum which is also very good too. We then hired a 4 seater helicopter for a short flight around the local region to see it all from 800 feet, a great sight. Then we drove 28km to the legendary Wellshot Hotel in Ilfracombe for a cleansing ale before witnessing a spectacular sunset from our caravan site. All in all one of the best days so far
