We certainly made the most of the first sunny day in Bled. After getting up early to squeeze in some school we headed to Lake Bohinj for a morning horse ride for M&D whilst we tried (unsuccessfully) to keep up on foot, enjoying the spectacular alpine scenery and sheer beauty of the place. Bob managed to navigate back to our campsite for a quick bbq lunch then we headed to the island on Lake Bled with Roger rowing and M&D helping with a little steering advice. Then, back on to the bikes for a cycle round the lake to grab a piece of the famous Lake Bled cake before dinner.

Love this place - it even makes it onto the shortlist of places we'd like to go back to!
