We headed inland to the historic town of Silves and to the castle on the hill. The health and safety wasn't the greatest as you could very easily fall off the walls!! Also, they had ruined the inside by using brand new bricks to add a garden and cafe which really wasn't in keeping with the era.

Next stop was the lighthouse at Cabo de Sao Vicente which is Europe's most South-western point. It was very windy so slightly concerned for Bob's safety, as the thunder and lightening hit, we decided it was best to head back to the campsite.
