Fantastic last day of sun on the Algarve. After opening the first advent calendars on waking, and a morning of school we headed to Ponte de Piedade in a Matrix convoy this afternoon to see the stunning views of the rock formations on the coastline and explore the cliffs before heading down to Praia Dona Ana with the wetsuits and body boards for a last few hours in the water for this trip and one last barbecue before we start heading North tomorrow.

We got on a bus to Lagos. In Lagos, we walked up some steps to a hill and walked up the hill to the science centre. I liked the cargo carrier, pirate ship, blowers, wave machine, boat, lift, submarine, lighthouse and the see-saw. I think it was better than the Valencia one. Blue skies - hurrah! And a fab day of not doing very much really.... children making dens and getting very cold in the swimming pool, a yummy barbecue for lunch, sitting chatting in the sun and Bob had a bath (well he got cleaned for the first time anyway!).

So after a mammoth day in Seville yesterday we all woke late, surrounded by wet clothes and spent a morning preparing to head to Portugal which mostly meant trying to find some clean and dry clothes and then going to Decathlon to get some more clothes for M&D and then going to Mercadona to replenish food supplies and shop like we had never seen a supermarket before....
