We got up really early, so we could meet the people from Greco Paths at ancient Epidaurus. Next, we went to the theatre, which had really good acoustics.
After that, we snorkelled in the Sunken City. It was cold and I didn't know where to put my foot.
Shortly after, we had a yummy snack with great views.
Now, on to my favourite part of the day. As soon as we arrived at the farm, I started feeding the ducks. Next, I collected eggs from the chickens and ducks. After that, I held and cuddled a wee lamb who was only a day old. I adored it and it was so cute! Following on from that, I held and cuddled a baby goat and that too was adorable. Also in the goat pen, I milked goats. I was the first to do it and I was the best (the owners said so). After that, we saw the farmer make food for the animals and then headed inside to make dinner. Firstly, we made cheese pies (a traditional Greek dish). They were delicious and next we cracked the eggs that we had collected earlier. Finally, to finish of the cooking, we had to pull up lettuce and onion from the garden. This, we put in the salad along with lemon juice, olive oil and salt. Once that was done, we sat down to a feast made for a king.
I had
· Cheese pie
· Asparagus omelette (asparagus collected on the morning walk)
· Lamb from the farm
· Feta cheese from the farm
· Bread
· Salad that I made
· Potatoes
and more. Finally, we fed the pigs and saw an awesome contraption! What it did was feed the sheep whilst milking them and it was so cool.
This day was awesome. From baaamy sheep to grunting goats, today was amazing. The family was really nice and welcoming, making the experience a whole lot better!!!
