Having spent the last couple of months on harbours with one or two motorhomes for company or campsites with maybe 5 or 6 other motorhomes we were slightly put out to arrive at our "Paradise Pitch" (copyright DRB) and find a huge motorhome on the pitch next door.... but in seconds the children were gone, we had a beach in the back garden, there were other people on their holidays not just travellers like us, the sun was shining and there was a kids club.

We spent the afternoon, into the evening on the beach as it was beautifully warm and we watched the sunset until we had to drag ourselves off to clean up for dinner - a bizarre dinner in a restaurant with no menu with a very rude waitress who became our friend by the time the weekend was over.

The Easter weekend passed by in the sunshine and we felt like we were on our holidays. Just what we all needed.
