A beautiful day so we set off early this morning to enjoy it. We arrived at our campsite in Orebic with about 20 minutes before the ferry to Korcula was due to depart so we somehow managed to unload bikes, pitch up (after an electric buggy tour of the site), grab the essentials and cycle down to the port to make the ferry with seconds to spare.

After a beautiful crossing we took the hilly route to Korcula Old Town to try and see some of the famous Holy Week processions but we were only just in time to see everyone dispersing with their palms and in no time at all the town was pretty deserted so we got on with enjoying a very laid back Sunday... I think we may be getting a bit "walled city-ed out" now or just all a bit tired as posing for photos with the pizza doggy box seemed to be quite funny at the time......

After some low-key exploring we took the low road back to the port and sat enjoing the views from the harbour walls waiting for the ferry back to Orebic where we cycled along the seafront to the beach for a quick paddle before our (almost) daily ice-cream and returned to the campsite to take advantage of the football pitch before darkness fell. Perfect SUNday.
