Bob's Big Edventure
Morning school before driving from Split to Dubrovnik. Bizarrely we started the day in Split (Croatia) but the only way to drive to Dubrovnik (Croatia) is via Neum (Bosnia). Bosnia owns 12k of coastline separating the majority of Croatia from Dubrovnik. This geographic peculiarity is the product of the 1699 land sale by the Dubrovnik Republic to the Ottoman Empire as protection from threat of invasion by the Venetians.
When we finally arrived in Dubrovnik we drove past the massive cruise ships to the campsite and finished off the day with another BBQ with the Thorley family.
