At last I've managed to upload another photo - sorry I can't get them the right way round. This was the compost toilet at the site near Tiverton. I said I wanted an adventure and I'm getting it.
For the record I stayed day 13 near Bodmin and day 14 about 10 miles from Tiverton.
Since the last blog from Cheddar I've pushed north using a few more A roads than intended. Day 16 I stayed on a nice site on the river Wye near Hereford but got bitten to pieces, my right leg's a real mess. Last night I stayed at Whitchurch. Met a couple of people along the way, both have made a donation, how kind's that. Also rode with a couple of lads from Darlington who are doing the end to end but they headed off east.
I've ridden to Lancaster today, 94 miles but with a tail wind so made good progress. It poured down all afternoon so have booked into a b & b for a bit of luxury and get dried out. Should make it home tomorrow before setting off on Scottish leg on Sunday. It'll be nice to get home for a few days to give my backside a chance to recover! and of course see everyone - shame the grand kids are away.
Cheers for now, Bob
