Yesterday was quite a tough day early on with lots of hills, to be expected, but it was also cold with quite a strong head wind. Eventually reached John O'Groats just after 2 to no back slapping or round of applause so I had another coffee and set off for Wick. Spent the night in a nice b and b and had some haggis for breakfast. Must have worked cause did 105 miles today and reached Inverness. Beautiful warm sunny evening. I'll just crack on down the A9 tomorrow and see where I get to.
