Hi all, I took this photo yesterday of the Forth rail bridge as I was crossing the road bridge - pretty spectacular.
I'll go back a day, on leaving Inverness I had another long day, 95 miles, to get to Pitlochry. There's virtually no habitation for the last 40 miles so you don't have much choice really, it's either a very long day or a very short day. As I've now got my "lets get home" head on it had to be the former.
I had a few problems leaving Pitlochry as the Garmin had a route that was 135 miles to Edinburgh and the phone wanted me to do 9 miles on the A9, poor visibility and dual carriageway, even I'm not that stupid! Eventually got sorted and arrived there for rush hour.
Today I've pushed on to stop in Ecclefechan - must be the best name ever, not much here though but there is a pub so I'm sorted.
Should only be about 70 or so from here so barring disasters will be home tomorrow to complete the challenge. Will do my last blog tomorrow.
Cheers Bob

Terry Enjoy a beer or two you deserve them
Angela Graham Can't believe how fast you've got through all those miles! I had awful problems trying to tell work friends about Ecclefechan Butter Tarts the other day - they thought I'd become Mrs Brown! Enjoy your last night away from home, and enjoy the last stretch tomorrow. xxx
