This is what I left behind in rio, but the place i've been for the past few days really is paridise. It's a little colonial fishing village called Paraty, and it's south of Rio on what's known as the emerald coast. The rainforest comes all the way down to the ocean and there are literally thousands of tiny islands and secluded beaches. Spent yesterday sailing around sampling a few of them. Today was much more entertaining, I spent 6 hours on the oldest saddest and most knackered horse you'll ever see. Clambering up tracks in the cloudforest. Got to swim in waterfalls and visit a Cinchasa distillary along the way. Tomorroy is a big truck day so i might be a wee bit uncomfortable.
