Day 10, August 20 - 67.4 miles sun/cool cloud- Cape Lookout State Park to South Beach State Park
Great sleep, up early. So beautiful, sad to leave. But pack and leave we did and up a hill for 3 miles ( mountain), "what a warm up!" Then a thrilling ride down into Kiwanda Beach for a coffee break. Picturesque place, great rock out on beach! Then more up and down ride to Neskowin and another steep climb into Lincoln City. McD for lunch- horrible traffic. Last
Climb just before Beverly Beach, so many beautIful views but either climbing or descending, don't want to stop to take pictures. Followed bike route through Newport to bridge but construction stopped us. A walked showed us trail out and onto Bridge! Stopped for food and into hike/bike site. Nice spot. Now in hospitality center writing blog to save- no wifi.
