Day 11- 43.7miles- August 21- fog, sun,wind
"Breathe deeply and feel the thrill every moment of the journey", thanks, Marilyn!
South Beach to Jessie H. Honeyman State Park. Today was that kind of day, ocean views, rocks, dunes and beautiful vistas. Too many for pictures to do them justice. Our first stop Waldport at a Co-op bike shop, put air in tires. Nice!! Next stop, The pretty community of Yachats- fun coffee shop. Not many steep climbs today except, "Sea Lion Caves", crazy road but great views. Lots of ups and downs. Easy ride into Florence and a stop for supplies, good shoulders to our camp for the night, Honeyman St. Pk. Hiker/biker site up in the bush! Set up camp, dried tent fly from this morning then walked to the "Dunes", never seen anything like it. Mountains of sand everywhere. Heard dune buggies in distance. Early dinner then in tent cool, strong wind! Great day!

Margaret McArthur Hi Mary, glad everything is going ok. You must be exhausted by bed. Sounds like you are going to have some nice pictures. Ride safe. Bev says to say hi.
